4 Great Ways To Use Our Klout Application On Facebook

Since its release several weeks ago, our Klout application for Facebook has been installed thousands of times and is being used by top brands around the world. This post will elaborate on four great ways to utilize the app, allowing your brand to reach new levels of engagement with your fans on Facebook. If you are unfamiliar with our app please read our Klout app launch announcement, as well as our blog post on Klout for Facebook best practices.

Build Campaign Hype
Creating awareness and excitement leading up to a campaign launch can be a daunting task. With Involver’s Klout app, you can effectively engage your audience and provide them with content that will stir up excitement about your brand and its campaigns. For example, DreamWorks Animation recently used the app to provide exclusive desktop wallpapers to fans leading up to the release of the feature film Puss In Boots.

Pushing this concept further, Klout gating specific content such as an exclusive trailer or preview of the movie would promote increased levels of engagement with fans over time, while creating buzz leading up to the movie’s premiere. Exclusive access to desirable content, whether it be a music track leading up to an album launch or tickets to an early movie screening, our Klout app will ensure that your most valuable fans are engaged and excited about your campaign.

Help Your Start-Up Achieve Critical Mass
As is often the case with start-ups in the technology sector, you will need to beta test your product. In many instances, its difficult to determine who would be a good early adopter of your product and subsequently give you the most valuable feedback. By utilizing our Klout app, you can grant beta access to those with a high level of social influence. This will not only increase the likelihood that these influencers will share the news of your start-up around the tech community, but also provide you with solid feedback due to their expertise and experience on the web.

Provide Targeted Customer Service
Depending on the type of business that you run, Klout gating can effectively be used to provide different types of customer service to your audience. An example would be for a brand to create two separate video demos for their product, and use Klout scores to determine which video would be most appropriate for each fan based on their competency on different social platforms. A basic video demo would be targeted at those with a low Klout score, while a more in-depth demonstration could be targeted to those with a high Klout score.

Screen Job Applicants
As Klout continues to become institutionalized as the metric of social influence, it will become increasingly valuable to recruiters hiring for jobs that require applicants to possess a high degree of social influence. Klout scores can be an effective way of gauging at a high level the quality of  an applicant’s social interactions across the growing myriad of social platforms. By utilizing the Klout metric on Facebook with our app, potential hires can be drawn from a very large pool of applicants.

Built in our social markup language SML, our Klout app for Facebook is flexible enough to meet all of your creative marketing needs. The app does not always need to be structured as a coupon, giving brands the ability to leverage the Klout metric in a variety of applications. It is the hope that this blog post serves as a jump off point for brands, as well as a testament to the fact that our Klout app for Facebook is only limited by your brand’s imagination.
