Google+ Says Bring On The Brands!

And we’re off!

Google+ is the fastest growing social network ever, and recently opened its doors to brands in the form of Google+ Pages. Today, we’re pleased to announce that Involver has been selected as a launch partner for its Google+ Pages trial.

Google+ Pages represents a great opportunity for brands to have a home for new and different interactions and engagement with their customers, to get more value from their existing Google ad spend, and to have a better approach to the stream that will support segmentation and targeting, along with better reporting through analytics.

As social media further infiltrates the marketing mix, it’s critical that brands understand the differences between each network, how people use each network, and how they prefer to engage with brands. Our specialty is connecting brands with customers on social networks. Over half a million brands and agencies use Involver to power their marketing efforts to a combined audience of over a billion people.

Google+ is a different animal, and brands are going to need an ecosystem of trusted partners to help them harness the massive opportunities within the Google+ platform. Ecosystem partners like Involver will be instrumental in helping brands to understand the most effective ways to operate within Google+ Pages.

It’s clear Google+ more than simply another social platform upon which to create an identity and tend to it. AdAge wrote up a compelling article with some great background that we recommend you check out.

Of particular interest is the value to be gained from Google+ Circles. Circles let brands target messages, and even more importantly, retarget messages to the users who engage in specific ways. Retargeting can deliver massive ROI, so optimizing presence on Google+ Pages will be key for brands.
